The purpose of the Emerging Infectious Diseases Committee (EIDC) is to develop and implement an effective method for monitoring and commenting on emerging and novel pathogens, or toxins, that impact the ABSA membership, Including providing considerations for best Biosafety and Biosecurity practices. These issues may be written documentation or philosophical issues.
