Find out moreBiosecurity at the Interface of Personalized Medicine, Gene Transfer, and Occupational Health is a novel webinar that examines discrete elements of biosecurity with respect to applied medicine. New therapeutics are making their way from the research bench to the clinical environment, forcing a healthcare and occupational health professionals to embark into biosecurity in ways not previously considered. While biosecurity has predominantly focused on laboratory settings, we must also examine the impacts of these products at both the medical profession and patient levels. This course will occur over a 2-hour special session. At the conclusion, participants will understand the growing interface of biosecurity in the clinical setting, particularly relevant to research programs that neighbor hospital and clinical settings. The webinar will be led by experts in biosecurity and the advancing fields of personalized medicine, gene transfer, and occupational health.
