The purpose of this technical page is to introduce the concept of biosafety, how to implement biosafety practices at the non-human primate/human interface in “range country captive centers,” settings, (hereafter referred to as centers) and how COVID-19 impacts and challenges effective and safe biosafety practices in these centers. Our goal is to promote human and animal health and safety through the information and resources provided on this page.
