U.S. Customs & Border Protection Importation of Biologicals Workshop @ UM

The University of Michigan will host the U.S. Customs & Border Protection Importation of Biologicals Workshop on May 6, 2025. The workshop will include representatives from several federal government agencies who will share their responsibilities, discuss regulatory and safety challenges of importing biological materials, how to prepare materials for proper transport , and how to apply for the necessary permits. We would like to invite members of the EHS community to join us for this opportunity for outreach and education. We would also welcome you to invite other colleagues or researchers who you think may benefit from this workshop.

Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.

There is no cost for the workshop. The agenda will be provided at a later date, once the speakers are confirmed.
