Two professional development courses\, Lab Design Issues\, and the IBC/IRB Review of Gene Therapy Clinical Trials will be offered on April 3rd. Our April 4th Symposium will feature a keynote presentation by Dr. Syra Madad\, a member of the National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity (NSABB) and an internationally recognized public health leader and epidemiologist in infectious disease and special pathogen preparedness and response. We will also feature three interactive panels on Gain of Function research\, Gene Therapy Clinical Trials\, and containment of Risk Group 3 pathogens in lab\, animal\, and arthropod facilities.
