OBJECTIVES

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This webinar is designed for people who are familiar with infectious substance shipping regulations and who have completed
previous certification training. Participants should have experience with classifying, packaging, marking, and labeling infectious
substance shipments. The expert panel will address questions and engage in detailed discussions with the assumption that all
participants have a basic understanding and experience with IATA and DOT infectious substance shipping regulations. Depending on
your employer and hazmat job function, this webinar could serve as refresher training. A test will not be administered as part of this
course. ABSA cannot certify any participant for shipping. Only the participant’s employer may certify that the individual is trained.

The webinar will be presented by Eric Cook, MPH, CBSP, Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The panelists for the webinar will be Steve Brooks, FAA, Eileen Edmonson, DOT, and Jay Johnson, Saf-T-Pak.
